I have a mitel sx-200 mx controller with the latest software. I installed a 4150superset as my subattendant and programmed 2 LDN buttons. I can answer the calls just fine, but I cannot place them on hold and retrieve them. I programmed a hold position key, but when I hit the key it does nothing. A 4150 phone can do enhanced subattendant features, but this will not work. I do not know what I am missing.

Is the set type programmed as 4150 or SUB?

Yes, when I added it, I deleted the old extension and then set it for a subattendant. When I expand the set, I can go through the key selection and find Hold pos. I program that button and it shows that it is a hold position button. But when I try to use it with a call it won't do anything. I can use the normal hold button on the phone and it will place the call on hold on my prime line, but I cannot retrieve it from that hold.

What is your specific software revision? 4.0.5.17?

4150's have been MD'd and it is possible that this functionality has not been tested.

I could test on my lab system but I need specifics.

sorry, it is SX-200_ICP_4.0.1.20

I know the phone was discontinued. I didn't know if I needed a new MOC, but the system works with it being a subattendant. I can't even use a feature code to retrieve the call off of hold.

I am baffled.

Tested with 4.0.5.17
Default COS

No problems

maybe I have a class of service option wrong. I didn't install the system. Mitel did, and the default COS for the subattendant is gone. What can I do to get the options correct.

The Technicians Handbook details some typical COS options including the Sub-Att

Time to start reading.

Pandabear, I used a blank - Default DB with no problems.

606 not required (But admittedly recommended)

assuming nothing was it a trunk you tried to put on hold?
kwbmitel were you able to put an internal call on hold, if so ignore my first question.
I have enabled 125 and 211, not sure if it would make a difference in this case.

I just tried with an internal call to the prime line and used a hold key. It works fine, and I didn't see the purpose of testing every possible scenario.
