I am currently gathering SMDR logs from my Mitel 3300 system (running MCD 4.2 - I know, it's old, we're working on that). I am trying to find the source number of some nuisance calling that we're receiving, but it doesn't seem like SMDR has the info I'm looking for.

What I want is to see a list of calls, by date and time, that shows the number we were called from. I know that the information is sent, because we obviously see it on Caller ID on our phones, but I need to find if it is logged anywhere.

Does anyone know if there are settings that I can turn on in SMDR that will show me the Caller ID?

Thanks in advance.

Extra info:

I have looked through the SMDR fields, and we do have the 'Calling Party', where it shows either the extension that called (for outbound) or the Trunk number (T201, for example). I'd just like to get the actual Caller ID info, if possible.

Thanks

Look at teh SMDR form and make sure report incoming calls is set to yes.

Assuming the trunks and trunk interfaces you're using provide incoming caller ID (some don't), you can enable COS and SMDR Options settings to show the incoming CID in the SMDR records.

But of course if the caller has their number withheld, then it can't show up in your SMDR records...
