Have configured xnet for release 6, done profiling, xnet trunk group,COS,network elements, ARS ,ARS digits dialled, can not get it working

There are dozens of ways this can fail due to improper setup.

Without specifics on what you have done, this will take forever.

Cluster Form
What are the member ID's and CEID's

ICP/PBX Form
IP addresses configured
Local controller set to local?
Total trunks configured

IP/Xnet Trk Profiles
What do you have here for each system
Is the trunk service number correct
does the trunk service number have the correct COS
does the trunk service number have the correct Absorb digits set to zero

IP/Xnet Trk Grps
What are the values here?

ARS

Digits Dialed
CEID for remote system setup details

route
Trunk Group / COR / Mod Digits

Modified Digits
Anything

Cor Groups
ANY CORs assigned to the COR group of the route?

Maintenance Commands
RMESSAGE VERIFY PBX [X] LAN (use this command from each system to the other)

State XNET ALL

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Why not just use "Direct IP Route" instead? Way less places for things to get hosed up.

@ Lundah - good point but I ran into issues with direct IP route a while back and I haven't revisited it.

I can't remember the issue unfortunately

I can do Clustering in my sleep so I have no issues with setup (except for once where I forgot to check the Local PBX option but I'd rather not talk about that)

Yep I agree , xnet is easy

If i have problems its because I normally forget this part
ICP/PBX Form
IP addresses configured
Local controller set to local?

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

The other things that tends to bite me is making sure the local and remote profile numbers match up between nodes in IP/XNET Trunk Profiles.
