hello- I've uploaded a picture of class d multicast traffic seen on a customers LAN sniffed out by wireshark. I am trouble shooting what seems to be a network problem causing their IP phones to randomly reboot.

My question is: is it normal to see so much mulitcast traffic generated by a NuPoint Ip voicemail system on it's LAN?

any input is much appreciated

I think you will need to provide a full screen capture of that trace. To me it looks like normal voice conversations. It doesn't appear wrong - it appears someone is in the voicemail system while you are using Wireshark. Perhaps provide more details from the screen capture so we can see what it really is.

What version of NuPoint is it? The 640IP uses multicast traffic for heartbeat traffic on the server cluster.
