Dear All,

There is customer that have 13 Mitel 3300 ICP networked together using IP Networking running software version lower than MCD 4.0. Recently they raised requirement for advance Multi Level Auto Attendant as per the following points:

- Multiple Multi-level Auto Attendant (MLAA) for each branch, total of 13 branches.
- Flexible timing based on date and time.
- The system should handle different greetings based on time.
- Will it be possible to avoid the system default promotes for instance (You will be transferred to + Extension No.)
- The system should support an average of 550 calls per day for all the 13 branches. That is an average of 60 calls per day for each branch and the peak hours 9am to 1pm.
- What would be the bandwidth utilization assuming they have shared link of 4MB MPLS for each branch and 100MB for the head office.
- Can any recorded greeting be uploaded to the system and what would be the recorded file specification.

I got a very short answers to the above points that those features are supported in the NuPoint messenger. But can you guys elaborate more input as you are engineers at the field.
- Especially the number of ports required.
- The Bandwidth utilization.
- Which Model of NuPoint Messenger.
- What is the minimum software version required for the 3300 to be integrated with the NuPoint Messenger.

I'm no expert but have you considered Intelligent Queue?

Assuming you don't want voicemail that is.

Can't answer for the port count as you need someone with access to the config tool.

The above would lead to the Nupoint you need. Choices are Nupoint on MAS platform ( small ), Nupoint ( medium ) and Nupoint 640 ( large ).

Bandwidth depends on how many ports are active at once. Worst case I think is like 100 K per active port.

Each load of Nupoint software has requirement for a certain load of 3300 software. You need to check the release notes for the current load but you probably are looking at something like R9 minimum.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.
