I have just started a new job that uses a Mitel PBX and uses Procomm Plus 32 to run the system. First, what is the best way to find out what version our Mitel phone system is, there must be a code to type into a phone to get this, and second is there anyone out there that has a manual for procomm Plus 32. The last person that worked on this system is long gone and I was just getting use to the Merlin v10 system at my last job. Any help would be greatly appriciated. I am sure Santa will look favorable on that person.

procomm is simply the communications package. Use the embedded help files there and you will be fine. The syetm cersion is displayed when you log onto a maintenace session and looks like this:

Current session on Main Controller A Active
Operating with MS2008-F-NA-00, Edition SX.P24.3.0

In this case the system is a redundant 2K plane "A" active running s/w P24.3.0

30 years and it's still true.....NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

usmhuskie,

I would recommend you start in the phone room and see what you actually have. Do you have a SX-2000 or a SX-200? This group will be very valuable to you, however we will all request details to know how we should respond.

There is no phone or feature code that will display the feature version on a Mitel. The console will support this feature. I'm assuming when you say "Merlin v10" you are talking about a Merling Legend/Magix or a 1030?? You had FEATURE 05 (or maybe 08) to show the switch version), but there is nothing similar in the Mitel PBX (nor Nortel, Cisco or Avaya PBX).
