Hi all!

I have a new mv250 controller software 6.3 HX with a expansion mod. In the expansion mod are two digital cards for the extensions. Everything is up and working fine. I want to ditch the expansion mod (older intertel) and move the cards up the controller. I have two free bays on it presently. My question what is the best way to move the existing extensions to the controller with the cards without actually deleting them and creating new? I have new cards because the older intertwl cards are not compatable (bigger physically)

Thanks!

Eric

Create temporary extensions on the new cards then do a "phone swap":

To complete a “phone swap”
· Identify the two extensions
· Close Session DB Manager (the administration software installed on your PC cannot be running)
· On an admin phone, dial feature 9932 (default on US systems), enter password if required
· Option 2,4,2
· Enter first Ext and then press #
· Enter second Ext and then press #
Press ### to exit

Delete the temporary extensions off the old cards
