Mitel (MiVoice) Border Gateway 8.1.25 and NuPoint Voicemail issue

We just upgraded to MiVoice Border Gateway 8.1.25.0 and still are using NuPoint version 15.2.0.9.01. Since we upgraded last week, we noticed that we have a one-way audio issue only when calling from a MBG phone to a Nupoint voicemail box, auto attendant, etc. Once the call is established with the NP Server, no DTMF digits are recognized and users think they are leaving a VM but it goes no where because audio is not being txmitted.... Regular voice calls to voice calls are fine, dialing is no problem at all, but this problem only occurs when it is dialing into NP. We have opened every port possible that is in documentation and are stumped on this one. This is only happening on our MBG devices...Has anyone ever heard of this? Thanks for any help!!
 
might be a codec issue?
have you tried restricting the TW devices to g711

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

 
is the MBG and the Nupoint server in the same LAN? if no, add the MBG IP to the trusted networks in the Nupoint server.
