Hi,

Has anyone used a Mitel MiVoice 5312 IP Phone with an Avaya IP Office 500v2 control unit as a 3rd party ip endpoint? Are there any known compatibility issues?

I only ask this because we have a client that has about 200 of them in their store room and they want to know if they can use them if they have to on their current IP Office system.

Thanks for the assist in advance.

You should be able to connect them to the system but the probably wont be much smarter than analog phones

3rd Party IP Endpoint Licenses
Non-Avaya IP telephones (SIP or H.323 devices) require a 3rd Party IP Endpoint license to register to IP Office and will consume one instance of that license. Note that Avaya cannot guarantee operation beyond making and receiving calls.

For the same price as a 3rd party endpoint license you'll get a regular IP Endpoing license and a E129 phone. (not saying they are so great either but still =)
