Hi All.
Happy new year all

I have question that has been bugging me for a while now. In a nutshell we have integrated Skype for business to our Mitel estate using sip trucks.

Mitel estate includes an IVR, Mivoice, SIP MBG, teleworker and nupoint for ACD users. Most of our users are Skype for business here we have just 1 Front end, 1 edge servers and a monitoring server.

All is working well for us, we also recently moved from ISDN to SIP.

The problem…

External calls is placed via the MBG on SIP, on the IVR if the call is transferred to a skype for business user or response group (From menu) the caller display the port number rather than the callers number.

I.e.

You missed a call from IVR Port 2052 at 2052.

Call transfer from a Mitel handset to a Lync user is fine, the number is displayed correctly, seems like the issue only happens when the call comes through via the IVR.

What’s been done.

Changing different transfer types on the IVR, currently set to blind transfer. Please note Mitel ACD users are not affected.
After much troubleshooting I strongly believe there’s a setting under the sip peer profile for Lync, possibly under “signalling and header manipulation” I have tried the obvious settings but none have seem to worked.

On Skype for business server under trunk configuration I enabled the forward p-asserted-identity data, this did not work so I deselected. Currently here I have the following enabled

- Centralized media processing
- Enable outbound routing failover timer

Thanking you in advance. I appreciate the info may be limited, so please do message back and let me know if you need any further info.

mmm.... I think your issue has to do with Class of Service options of the IVR ports or SIP trunks to Skype. Try setting "Display Held Call ID on transfer" to YES for the COS assigned to the IVR Ports (I would imagine these are your NuPoint Ports).

wow, genius thank you that seem to have done the trick. really appreciate your help.
