Hi,

Does anyone have any experience on setting up Iristel ITSP on Mitel MiVB (or 3300)? Or any other ITSP?
My outbound calls go through fine, but for some reason on incoming calls the MiVB always sends back a SIP 404 Not Found. I do have the DID entered in the DID table form but it seems its not even getting to that point cause I can remove it and it does the same thing.
I'm using the MBG as the outbound proxy and incoming calls would be routed through the MBG also. I did check the SIP logs on the MBG and I see that it seems to be operating properly and its passing the SIP details to my MiVB for the incoming call but for some reason the MiVB is the one returning the SIP 404.
I'm new to the Mitel world, so I must be forgetting something on the MiVB when using SIP Trunks...
I've contact Mitel for the Iristel config guide (it's old though) and I've got my programming setup in the same way but still not working.
Any help or pointing me in the right direction would be helpful.

How many digits are you receiving?

They tend to send 11 in my experience

P.S. Welcome Neighbour!

Technically, I probably shouldn't be helping you as you are likely the competition (Shhhh)[wavey3]

In your 'Trunk Attributes' form have you set DID Service to ON?

As kwb mentions, check how many digits you are receiving.

thanks. I figured it out actually.
incoming DID assignment form and DID Form needed to match the incoming SIP number. I thought it would match from the right to left, but its an all or nothing match.

@kwbMitel thats neat if we are. I'm not much for political stuff so it's all good. :)

Correct, it's an all or nothing match.

I would also caution you that Iristel will sometimes send different quantities of numbers. We had a system setup for 10 digits and added 2 and the 2 that were added had 11 digits.

If they send 11 digits, you need to program 11 digits.

Your location information on your profile shows AB,CA. If you are working on Mitel, we've definitely crossed paths.

You will find that bribob, paterson, and M1tel are also from this region. I'll even allow for Ynotphone eventhough he moved to BC.
