A bit of a complicated problem !
I have recently moved a Mitel Voice mail system from 1 switch to another switch in our network. I moved it from a Mitel SG running P stream to an Sx2000 Light running T stream.
The Message waiting indicators are sent out by 2 ONS ports to remote switches in our network. The network is Featurenet 1000 from BT.
All WMI's are working except from 1 site which is an SG running N stream.
The switch recieves the Virtual message to light the approriate lamp. Instead of lighting the lamp and clearing the virtual call, the SG send out a NAM back to the network. The network then send sthe massage back to the SG beacause it is a virtual call, not a voice call and the SG sends back a clear request of busy, which is then sent back to the orginating light.
Can anyone shed any light ??
