Hello. I setup a hot desk user the other day. Nothing out of the ordinary for us as we have over 100 of them. Strangely the end user was not able to log in. I looked at the setup and COS and attempted to login as well. The profile appeared to be reloading but ultimately just went back to the original station without fully loading the profile. I had not seen this before so I attempted to remove it in software and rebuild it. When I attempted to delete the profile I was given an error.."the device cannot be deleted from the secondary element..please log into the primary element to delete the device" the primary location was listed as another location in our cluster. I thought maybe I had built it in the wrong controller so I checked and the hot desk user is not found in this controller. I looked at the telephone directory as well. Not listed.
Any thoughts as to why I am not able to remove this hot desk user profile? Better yet..how can I quickly remove all traces of this dn from our enterprise? Much appreciated!Here is the locate feature extension results.
