I have a stand alone system. Followed the instructions on the manual but cannot get hot desking to work.
Whenever I change an IP user device to hot desk user it deregisters it and I cannot register again.
I tried to create an extension and then register. Once working I tried the hot desk login and it looked like it was going to work but it stayed at the old extension.
I thought I could just register the phones as the normal extensions and then login from in phone using the hot desk feature.
Maybe I am missing something that the manual does not state.
Please Help.

Have you added the local pbx to the ICP/PBX assignment form and put in the correct IP address?
Have you also created a cluster with just the local PBX in and given it a valid Cluster element ID?

Lastly have you given both the base extn and the hotdesk user the correct hotdesk options in the Class of Service?

In Network Elements:
PBX Number/Cluster Element ID = 1

In Cluster Elements:
Primary Node ID=1
Pbx Number/Cluster Element ID = 1

Yes I have added the COS options.

Have you also added the system to the IP networking ICP/PBX form with the IP address?
