Mitel MCD 4.0: Call pickup group, Generic Forms Error

System with MCD 4.0.
When I attempt to access the pickup group form I get a "generic forms error".
I was advised to secure telnet in via port 2002, change directory to /db/database/files, then delete lciclscp.db and lccsndid.db, then reboot.

I log in via this method using a login id (SDS)with root privileges. I am not able to cd to the necessary directory. I am not able to issue the command remove /db/database/files/filename. When I issue the command whoami the system returns ftp. What am I doing incorrectly?

I am thinking that with the error you are now having it might be advisable to do a data restore

Agreed not sure if deleting individuals database files is a good way to go.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best becuase you always get them.
