I've tried upgrading the IPBS successfully, from 4.0.8 to 4.0.25. The WSM doesn't need upgrading. The handsets need their firmware upgrading. This was a recommendation from Mitel to fix a fault that was happening on a customer site. However, the handsets stay out of service after the upgrades. Power cycling the handsets doesn't work.
I've had to downgrade the IPBS to return everything to service again.
Does this mean that the handsets require upgrading before the IPBS do? Is their something that I've missed?
It seems a bit strange to be upgrading the handsets first. This would quite clearly have implications on new handsets bought by my customer and doesn't seem right.
I've checked through all of the documentation I can find on MOL, but nothing I have mentions upgrade procedures. Any ideas??
Many Thanks
