We have a large Mitel estate consisting of around 25 controllers.
4 of which are "User Gateways" along 4 resilient pairs.
One issue we are finding is that even thoguh we keep on top of our SDS errors, we find there are still anomalies between controllers.
In theory each controller should have an exact copy of the Telephone Directory/remote Telephone Directory.

We fidn this isnt the case, there are often anomalies.
1 controller not knowing about a base number for example.

has anyone else had this issue and found a way to "tidy it up".
One i dea i had was to take the telephone Directory off a controller, then compare this in spreadsheet form with the remote DNs of each other controller - effectviely creating 1 large spreadhseet which SHOULD be line for line accurate.

By then going through line by line you will see which controllers have these missing/extra entries?

Would this work, or more to pint doesnayone have a quicker solution.

Regards

SDS is a work in progress and there are constant improvements with each load.

If you are not up to date on SW, that would be my best suggestion.

yep i agree , upgrade first

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

and due to an endless stream of MiCollab , MiCC issues
Life would be simpler If only they tested products properly before releasing them .....
