I have MITEL CX3300 and for some reason it stopped opening the greeting's menu and the options to select from. Is there any idea what might be the problem? Thanks.

sounds like you are referring to an embedded vmail menu node
- is the voicemail working when you call the pilot

what software version is it ?
there could be a number of issues - is anything in logs or alarms

you can check status on the console

iPVM_Status
- displays status of embedded VM
iPVM_Stop
- stops embedded VM
iPVM_Start
- starts embedded VM
iPVM_Stop & iPVM_Start <--used to stop/start the embedded vmail
vmPortStatusInfo
<--current state of embedded vm ports
For MCD V 5.
iPVM_Stop () - stops embedded VM
iPVM_Start () - starts embedded VM

if you stop it and cant start it - reset system is required
same if you cant stop it

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

For what it's worth I've never been able to actually re-start embedded VM using the iPVM_Start command, it's always required a reboot of the controller.

Thanks for your reply. How can I use these commands? I usually use the web interface to deal with the MITEL system and these commands are not in the Maintenance Commands.
BTW, I rebooted the controller many times with no luck. the VM works only when I change the "CP Display Night" which play a recorded message only.
But, with "CP Display Day" which includes the greeting message and language options is not working.

I attached the software version and how the system looks like. Thanks.

so what you are actually saying is that there is no day greeting for the menu node mailbox

that software is very old

I cant remember whether you can extract the files off of a server that old
on later versions I would suggest using sftp to access the files and then re-uploading the night greeting to the day -slot

you might be better off just accessing the mailbox via the voicemail pilot and rerecording the prompts

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

It was working absolutely fine. Suddenly it stopped accepting the incoming calls and opens the greetings VM in the day time. I believe the day greetings VM is on the admin VM and it works through the call routing which for some reason it stopped working. Can this problem be a network issue?

Unlikey to be a problem out side of the MIVB
You would have to follow the call flow to see whats happening and why its not working.
probably too much to try and detail here - do you have a maintainer that can help

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

The system is too old, I could not find a tech that can help with that. I used the CCS command to trace a call and this is the result. Any idea what is that?

6.0 would be ftp and the the greeting location would be vmail c prompts and set being used PDAY.vox and PNITE.vox are what play using the vm hunt group, id MLAA set, might need to know what kind of trunks and what they may dial for day and night.

Thanks for you reply. I might need to find a technician to help me with this. I am just new in this.

To confirm, it is just the night greeting?
If it is only the night greeting, either the message may have an issue, or check what your night re-routing is set to.
