Have a customer that would like the CallerID Name to display on the top of a 5330 phone but the number to display on the Multicall key. Currently names shows on both.

System is a vUCC System on MAS 5.1
vMCD 6.0 SP 2
Lines are SIP.

Second question is a UCA question. Ver 6.0 SP1. Customer wants to dial out of UCA which is working for corporate and imported contacts. They also want to dial out of Outlook. Outlook when you dial from it only sends 7 digits when you have a dialing prefix setup in the UCA server. If you place a - in front of the number it dials correctly. If you remove the dialing prefix from the UCA Server and have Windows dial the outgoing digit for local and Long distance outlook works, but UCA no longer dials out. Anyone fought this battle already?

Additional question on UCA the customer has not entered numbers in Outlook with a 1 and now wants the UCA system to add both the 9 and the 1. Of course if I do this it is global and does this for all numbers. Mitel states the customer must make their numbers uniform. Any way around this that you can think of?

Yes,

You need to set up the Phone and Modem dialing properties on the PC under the control panel.

Tell it what your local area code(s) are and that it needs to dial the area code on local calls.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.
