Hi There,

I'm hoping someone could shed some light on an issue I'm having.

I have two analog extensions 8007 & 8014
Right now if you dial 8007 both 8007 & 8014 Ring....
If you dial 8014 the caller hears ringing but neither 8014 or 8007 Ring.

I've even deleted and added a different number to the PLID for 8014 but still when you dial 8007 the new extension number rings; and dialing the new extension number gets you no where...

I don't understand... I was thinking Twinning, but I don't know how to access the programming for Twinning. I understand that there should be a hunt group number I should dial to access the TUI programming - but I can't see anything in the programming for this. and if I try to access these phones using the Desktop tool for the extension I get an error message saying "This Telephone isn't registered for this tool" I've done a clear all feature on both sets, and in the maintenance command I don't see any call forwarding or features on these extensions... Apart from actually moving this extension to another PLID on the phone system I don't know how to separate the sets....

Please Help!

Lisa

Have you got mobile extension installed? (or UC Mobile)
If so this uses a monitor key of the 'twinned' ext on which can then be pointed at any number including external numbers

Unlike external hotdesking and PRG's the Mobile extension app on MSL does all the work
You need to login to the TUI or the portal to change the external number.

what are the analogs programmed on ?
ONS Card or AMB

if thy are on an ONS card connected via the 25 Pair cable you may have a split pair or common leg between the 2 .
if on AMB then thats unlikely unless there is a cct board issue .

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
