Anyone having trouble downloading licenses from AMC today? I'm programming a new MiVoice Business. Using the Software Installer, I enter the ARID then click on Retrieve Licenses. Several moments later, all of the licenses appear in the Licensed Options fields (IP Users, Messaging etc...). I click next through the rest of screens until the install begins. All steps of the install are successful except the Licensing Configuration. It fails. It's failed twice...

After those attempts, I logged into my system and found the system in License Violation. The message states "Warning: This system is in License Vioilation. Please see 'License Violation Handling' in help. I proceeded to try to retrieve the licenses by going to License and Options. I discovered that that ARID was correct. I clicked Change then clicked on Retrieve Licenses. That method of license retrieval also failed. A message appears stating "Unable to communicate with the AMC. Check your Internet connection."

My internet connection works fine. I'm pretty sure I'm able to communicate with the AMC because when using the Software Installer because after entering the ARID and clicking on Retrieve Licenses, the licenses load in the fields(as mentioned in my first paragraph).

Hence, is anyone else experiencing problems downloading licenses or any other problems with AMC?

If not, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong and how to correct it?

Thank

I actually just discovered a bulletin on Mitel connect stating that the License Server AMC would be down for maintenance today from 7am to 9am. However, it's 5pm...

There was an issue last night some servers are showing license violation - just perform a manual sync and they should return to being ok

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Bills66, it turned out that my firewall was blocking access to AMC. I found the AMC troubleshooting doc on MOL. There were two domains it asked if I could ping. I could ping one but not the other. I changed to a private network with no firewall and successfully downloaded the licenses.

Thanks
