mitel alarm

Hallo,

Periodically, in maintenance logs appears an alarm with description:

Source: OPS Alarms DSA
Description: ForwardUDTMessageToOPS()->Cannot connect to UDTHANDLER

system Mitel MN 3300
Have any idea what this means ?

I think that's the 3300 trying to reach out to OpsManager for some reason. OpsManager is an old network & user management system that's been discontinued for quite some time, but may still be around on some older installations.

The real question is is it causing any issues? If not I would simply ignore it. You might even be able to change system alarm level thresholds in order to ignore this alarm or you might even be able to disable the feature entirely who knows? I don't work on the 3300 very much
