hello fellow mitel users. This seems like a pretty good forum from reading the postings and i wish to pose a problem to you guys and get some opinions.

6100 multimedia contact centre, I have setup according to the manual and have full exchange and domain permissions for my 6100 account but it will not create the public folders for users or paths, the error message I receive in the event viewer is to check my primary email address and domain, but I have put in my alternate domain under tools/computer name and it is correct.

Any idea's fella's ?

what other apps are you running on this box?
also what version are you running?
what version exchange?

on the box, I have exchange server 2003 and using contact centre v5.5 it will also have sql and third party software for the 6100. nothing else.

is this solution working at all?
do you have an account that DOES create the public folders?
if so just copy all permissions..

Nope, cannot create public folders for users nor can i create them for paths!

ok, had this too. it has to do with permissions.
did you follow the documentation on multimedia setup to the teeth. as a test ask the system admin to enter his/her details under the (forget the service name but it's also in the documentation).

if this works then you know you have to copy all detail to the account you are using
