First off, this forum has been a great help for a newbie like me!

My question is as follow, can the Mitel 5540 Console receive CLID information during ringing state? Is this something that's possible and related to a class of service option?

Short answer is No.

The 5540 set is for a high call volume area... the receiving person needs to see whom they are talking to, not who is calling in.

The caller ID will only display when you are talking to tone individual at a time.
