Mitel 5340 with Conference Unit 1

Hello All,

We just got a Mitel 5340 IP Phone with a conference unit. Would anyone mind giving us a basic rundown as to how to program a key on the phone to utilize the conference unit? I've been looking around to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Under the applications key there is a conference unit option.

It is only accessible with a conf unit attached so I cant tell you much more.

I guess the part I am lost in is the Application part.

I try to program a key for Application but then I'm prompted for a MiXML application feature. I;m not sure if I'm going in the right direction with this.

If your Applications key is not programmed or not working here are the steps to reprogram it from the phone.

It will not work if programmed thru the Web interface.

Press the blue settings key

Select "Programmable Keys"

Select Key to program (vacant key)

Select "View Applications"

Select "Applications List"

Press Save
