I am changing phones the display window is not working so I am trying to replace with another Mitel phone. I can't get it to program. What should I do?

more information is required

what is the system type ?
- i will assume its mivoice business and the phone is NOT running in SIP mode
- assuming the 5330e is the phone used as the replacement phone

you may need to determine if the extension number for the device is a hotdesk user or a fixed user
if its fixed and the new phone is the same as the old phone
and the new phone doenst already have its mac address in the MIVB
and the default set replacement code is ###
and the extneion number is YYYY
when the new phone is plugged into the POE it should boot and get to enter pin followed by hold key
enter ###YYYY HOLD
this should replace the MAC address on extension YYYY with the mac address of the new phone

if the devices are different then they need to be changed in MIVB on ext YYYY
if YYY is a hot desk user
and if the default set registraion code is ***
and if there is system options with a device only pool range configured
when the new phone is plugged into the POE it should boot and get to enter pin followed by hold key
enter *** HOLD
this should apply the next available device only extension to the new phone ( will auto detect the device type )
then hot desk in as ext YYYY

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
