Mitel 5330/5340 - Can they be portable?

I've been asked to find a way to have people be available via their phone, but not necessarily be next to their phones.
Ie. answer the phone when they are on the balcony/other room, etc. (the calls have to be recorded, we have Oaisys setup).
So, that takes SIP out of the question. But I found this solution.. Mitel 5610 Cordless headset.
However, I can't seem to find anyone using one on the internet! Maybe it was a bomb, but it seems that it might do what I need.

Has anyone here used one? Tried one or know of someone who used one? (would that work for my situation)

5610 is a sip base with cordless phone - there weren't that great and are end of life i think
they changed to a 112 RFP and that works better but its still a sip endpoint

you can get other externally connected headsets with mechanical lifters for 5330 5340

or upgrade mivb and get a 6930 / 6940 with integrated DECT handpiece or headset

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
