I have a specific requirement for MITEL's:

(1) Restrict International calls which is obviously do able by chaing class of restrictions/service ? Am I right ?

(2) Entering a code to make any sort of outgoing calls and no restriction on incoming calls. Can this be done ???

1. Yes
2. Yes (if I am understanding your request correctly please expand)

Thanks Bob.

Request say an ext number xxxx can receive incoming calls anytime of the day or night without any sort of restriction. However, to make any sort of outgoing call (example a cell phone number in WA, he has to enter a code 4325 to dial that number and that code to prevent any misuse)

HOw should i go about doing the this request

Yes, the phones should have a class of restriction that denies outgoing calls. You should them implement the forced account codes feature on this set to force anyone who wishes to make a call from this phone to input a valid account code before being allowed to make the call.

bobcheese is correct basically you setup the phone with a COR that blocks the calls. Then when you use forced account code you enter an account code which has a COR associated with it that allows the calling you need. The forced account then "swaps" the COR of the set from a restricted one to the non restircted one. That's about it.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Hey looplou, thanks man.

What forms do I need to select to perform this action ???
