Is there a way to withhold outbound caller ID on the Mitel 5000?

Your Telco config may be an issue (PRI/SIP/POTS).

PRI - You might be able to have the carrier remove default Caller ID from the circuit, but allow your system to send Caller ID if desired. Then remove calling party number entries on Trunk Group and/or endpoints.

SIP - Due to call authentication your options are severly limited, but check with the carrier.

POTS - Caller ID would need to be removed from each line on the carrier side.

Can you manually dial a code where you live to withhold your number?

For instance in the uk you can dial 141 before the telephone number to stop your CLI being sent, in the past I have setup ARS to automatically enter this code on outbound calls.

This is utilizing a PRI. I do not want to block it on every station, only a select few. I can do this on the IP Office and I was curious if the Mitel 5000 could do it or not.

In terms of dialing a code to block CID, I'm only aware of dialing *67 where I live to block caller ID, but that's for POTS lines.....not sure if it would work on the PRI or not. So I thought I would try it on the PRI. I press 8 to dial out, then I start to dial *67 and as soon as * is hit the 5360 phone shows "Feature Cancelled". So I thought I could try direct trunk access on a PRI channel by dialing 94001 to grab the first channel. I do that then dial *67 and the 10 digit number and it errors out on me.

My preference would be to just block it on a station by station basis and not have to dial a code to do it every time I dial out.
