We have a Mitel 5000 with a 5330 set that one of the call keys is flashing when on hook and cannot access the key or get dial tone on it.have changed key maps and defaulted set and still flashes on call key 1. Does anyone know what could cause this to happen? We are thinking it was a feature code that was activated but not sure what feature.

Features are cleared when you default station (394) . Flashing call key means there's a call on hold on that appearance. Check SAaD, maybe...JUST MAYBE...there's a call just hanging out. Otherwise, default the phone, delete and recreate the extension and rePIN the phone.

Ok, this definitely sounds like the bug that the other tech ran into.
He was advised by Mitel support to delete and recreate the station to clear the issue.
