Hey folks!!!! Here is my issue and im sure its because I still don't understand alot of Mitel at this time.

I have a customer that has 12 loop start lines

All 12 appear on the reception phone but only the first 6 ring her phone. The other 6 appear only and are answered by the auto attendant where they can hit "0" for the operator or dial by name.

My problem is I want to be able to have the the first 6 ring the reception like noraml and the last 6 answer with auto... but they use all the lines to dial out on starting on line 12 and works its way up...... and I can only have one answer point for the trunk group. I figured I need to create a group for the first 6 and another for the second 6... but how do make it so the phones dial out using all the lines?? I am a bit confused and the class I went to was very basic.

thanks

You will have to use two trunk groups since you are using different answer points for each set of lines. You can assign each trunk group to a key on the phns and have the users select the trunk group Trnk07-Trnk12 (92002) as the first choice and Trnk01-Trnk06 (92001)as the second choice. Or, remove the human element and implement ARS. Just list both trunk groups in each Facility Group (put 92002 above 92001 so that trunks 07-12 are used first for outbound); change outgoing field for all stns to be ARS (92000) and update key mapping.
