Mitel 5000 - Trunk Specific ring tone

Hello,

I have a mitel 5000 with 8 loop start trunks. The first 6 lines are for the main rotary for the customers phones, however lines 7 & 8 are for incoming 1-800 number calls. The feature code for ring tones seem to change the settings for the phones.

Is there any way to change the ring tone for trunks 7 & 8 to be different from the others and each other.

So basically, can i have 3 ring tones appear on 1 phones.
or is the ring tone phone specfic?

Ring tone is for any/all lines ringing the endpoint. You can't make them ring different. You could create a CRA with no greetings that times out to ring destination and name it something like "Main Line". Create another CRA with no greetings that times out to ring destination and name it something like "Toll Free". Split the lines up into two Trunk groups and point them to corresponding CRA's for ring-in destination. I also do this for system that have multiple companies answered by the same operator. Then they look at the LCD to know the call type/Company name.
