I have an existing customer that has decided to install Cisco SIP systems using Call manager at each location. Forgive my ignorance here I am a Mitel dealer. the Cisco systems are or will be installed in small used car offices. I think that 8 - 10 phones in each with a couple of pots lines at each location would be normal. Anyway where I come in is that they have a main office where they do the financing. They have about 90 people and we have an Inter-Tel Axxess system that they share with the corporate home office. We are told that they want to replace the system for the finance company. The change is such that they want to be able to "call" each of the small offices over their WAN using SIP. Now I am pretty sure this is a slam dunk for the Cisco equipment. But, from my standpoint, I lose a customer. Now, the question is: Has anyone directly connected Cisco CM systems to a Mitel 5000? All I care about is that a user on one system can dial a user on the other system without using the PTSN. No other features just a plain Jane call. The call traffic will not be much. There may be 12 of the small offices.
Thanks for any insight you can provide in advance.
