Hello All,

I have a strange one that's bugging me. I have a Mitel 5000 V5.1 and the phone in question is a digital 8528 with a PKM 12 attached.

The issue is this:
Whenever I use the phone to program a button on the PKM as a DSS all 12 buttons take on that programming. When I look at the programming they are set as User Programmable however they all behave as the DSS. For example, I program button 1 as a DSS for ext 1001 and all 12 buttons become a DSS for 1001. Then I program button 2 as a DSS for ext 1002 and all 12 buttons become DSS for 1002, including button 1 which I just programmed. I did this by entering 397, pressing the button, entering 1001/1002 etc.

What I wound up doing was just programming all the DSS buttons on my computer and they work just fine. This solves the problem for now however I'm concerned that the customer will use their phone to change these buttons in the future and things will go sideways again.

Any idea what might cause this kind of behaviour?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Make sure that even though these user programmable keys they need to have a different selection.
User Programmable Key - 1
User Programmable Key - 2
User Programmable Key - 3
etc...

If they are all the same e.g.
User Programmable Key - 1
User Programmable Key - 1
User Programmable Key - 1

Which I suspect they are, when program the key they will all take on the same feature because they are all they same programmed key.
