Mitel 5000 downgrade issues 1

Supposed to be able to downgrade from 6.0 to 5.1.

Issue I have is, everything is fine (software and prompts), excepts when downgrading prompts, the VM stays at 6.0 and get alarm 203 (vm link down). I can't force it from the web page either.

Anybody have a clue? Also, the db conversion option just stalls and nothing happens

You will have to force from the Web GUI I believe.
The secret is that you have to login as the support account not admin. This then give you the option to downgrade.
This will also default the database.

If I remember correctly, the support account is a temporary password you have to set, right?

It is normally a disabled account that you set a password for when you enable it.
