Customer requesting to have cell phones be able to receive Hunt Group calls; I've tried DEE & forwarded Phantoms with no luck. Not sure if Mobile UCA would do it. Anyone have any suggestions to accomplish this request?
I recently called Mitel Tech support about this.
Not possible I'm afraid.
If you do get a work around please post back as I'm interested in this feature as well.
There's usually a way, not always a good way, but usally workable.
E.g.
Single line station as member of hunt group
Station wires loopback as inbound analog trunk
Analog trunk is programmed to terminate to external number
External number = Cell
Done.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.
When you have used DEE have you also had a physical phone that the users mobile is twinned with? Maybe even an SLT port with no phone plugged in.
We have a customer who has home workers and they use DEE so users can still recieve HG calls to their mobiles with no issues but they also have an IP Phone in their home.
Hi All - Finally had a chance to revisit this. kwbMitel had the right idea and I got it to work:
1)Enable and test Dynamic Extension Express for user.
2)Use a spare *Single Line port and wire directly to a spare *Loop Start port.
3)Create new Trunk Group with new Loop Start port.
4)Program new Trunk Group to ring DEE extension day/night.
5)Add new Single Line extension to Hunt Group or HG ext list (all ring works too!)
Bit of a Bump this but I got this working today without LS/SL ports.
Create a Phantom
Create a user for the Phantom
Setup DEE for the user, set to yes, add mobile number etc.
Create a Call Routing Application
Set the time out destination as the Phantom extn number
Enter the CRA number into the Hunt Group as a member and calls will twin with the Phantom and the mobile.
This worked and I was happy
I couldn't stop tinkering though so I then stuck the Phantom into a Hunt Group Member list, deleted the CRA from the hunt group and entered the Hunt Group Member list, this worked as well, ringing the mobile when a call was routed to the HG. Theoretically as long as you had enough lines you could ring loads of mobiles.
Phantom in Hunt Group Members List did not ring the DEE only the phantom.
If a CRA is used the the call does not follow the hunt group call flow, eg. no answer advance. It will just ring the phantom and DEE and follow DEE profile.
I am running 5.1 SP4PR2 (Australian DB) 5.1.0.49
Do you think there are any flags etc... that I'm missing?
@kwbMitel - NTEDave got a "Well Done", but my way actually worked for me.
@sarond - My test results of NTEDave's work around were the same as yours.
a) Using HG Member list did not work for me.
b) If the CRA is listed as a member, the call does not advance past the CRA (linear HG). If it's the last member, that works. But if it's at the top or in the middle, any stn's listed below the CRA do not get an offer.
I believe this is because the CRA actually answers the call behind the scenes and transfers it to the "timeout" phantom, so the call is no longer ringing the HG. This is why I had to burn ports and trick it in my original testing.
Also, when I went onsite to deploy, I discovered the HG they wanted it for was an ACD HG. Fotunately, they were not using Agent IDs and I was able to log in the burn SL port into the ACD HG with my test set. We later dicovered we could also log it in via CCS/CSM if necessary.
