Can't figure it out by trial and error and documentation is not helping.

Anyone??

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

I don't recall any message light support on analog ckts, just an audible indication - stuttered dial tone when going off-hook.

That's pretty short sighted don't ya think?

Can't find anything on SLM cards but found this in the Install Manual regarding the Single-Line Adapters
Mitel Install Manual said:
SLAs do not support visualMessage Waiting applications. If single line sets with
Message Waiting lamps are installed on SLAs, the lamps will not function. However,
single line sets can be configured in DB Programming to receive audibleMessage
Waiting tones.

I am still new to the 5000 so have no experience on MWI on analogue stations yet.

Thanks Sarond - That's pretty definitive.

Be aware this is for SLA adapters (an adapter that connect to digital ports I believe)
Actual SLM-4/8 cards may be different, I am from the Australian market and we don't get a lot of the hardware that UK/NA do, like DEI's
The way they have marketed it over here is be sure that it does step on the 3300's, it has good bang for buck for SMB.
