Mitel 5000 Attendant Console 3.2 VM issue 2

I have installed 6 PC based attendant consoles on a Mitel 5000 HX 5.1 system with IP phones. All the phones the Att Consoles are attached to have initialized voicemails but every Att Console displays this message in a box:

You don't have a Voicemail extension

This pops up as soon as I click on anything related to voicemail.

I called Mitel TS and the 1st level support guy went through a few settings and ended up telling me he didn't have a clue why I was getting this dialog.

Any ideas?

Have you entered the vm extn number in the associated extension field for the ip handsets?

NTEDave is correct Crowtalks. You need to have the VM pilot populated in the associated extensions settings for each extension with an Attendant Console attached, or you will get the message you are seeing.

Thanks for the replies.

All handsets have voicemail and most have been initialized...especially the attendants and the victims we were using to demonstrate the console action...all that was covered with the Mitel TS tech.

The Mitel TS tech and I also went through the settings on the att consoles to verify they were correct...as I had said...he was stumped as am I.

Wait...are you saying there is a field in the Att Console where I populate a VM box as well as the extension of the handset that the console is associated with?

Sometimes I'm braindead...I didn't realize what you were saying, even though it was plain as day...I checked on that and it wasn't populated and the Mitel TS guy missed it also. That got fixed and...that's what it was...good call.
