Mitel 5000 and MCD 1

Guys,

Can we network a Mitel 5000 and a 3300 (MCD Enterprise)? Most propable anwer is YES

If YES, is it via SIP trunks or can we do it using Mitel propietary IP Networking? (Same as we network 2 3300s)

Short answer is NO.
Not yet anyway, you have to think of these systems as completely different in terms of vendor.
It is still an inter-tel at its core with firmware to support Mitel handsets etc...
There is no Mitel IP networking on the 5000 (except 5000 to 5000)

You can do SIP trunking but the 5000 is not as good as the 3300 in regards to ARS and dial plans.
