Mitel 5000 5.1 UVM MWI not lighting up

Setup a VM on UVM, but when I leave messages, no MWI goes up on the phones (8568 digital sets).

Is there something that needs to be added or turned on, like a feature code on the 3300?

Would also like to know how to adjust the call forward no answer for each phones, or gloablly for that matter; stuck at 4 rings

Check the Mailbox you have created, make sure the message notification endpoint is set to the phone you want the messages to appear on.

To change the forward to VM timer go to System / Timers and Limits and change the System Forward Initiate timer.

There's no easy timer on the extn to change but you could fudge it with multiple forward paths or if one person wanted to be different set a call forward no answer instead of a system forward on their extn, then you could change the CFNA timer for the awkward one!

The global timer you are looking for is the system forward intiate timer. This will control all of the system forwarding paths. If an extension wants a longer timer change the forwading path to re-ring the same extension (forwarding point 2). Once the call begins to ring the 2nd forwarding point it is now using the system forward advance timer and you can now control the length of time before the call is sent to vm.
