Mitel 4025 and 420 phone users complaining about some of their calls echoing. They can hear themselves but can barley hear the other party.

If you did not take enough time to get it right the first time...

What makes you think that you have time to fix it?

Assuming you're on a 3300
Assuming your SW is up to date
Assuming the hardware is in a 2K per Bay
Assuming the problem exists on all sets
Assuming there are no external factors

I assume you will provide better info.

Hardware 3300 mx controller
Software v 8.0.10.7_1
Problem is random and only exist on some sets

Don't know what you mean by Hardware is in a 2K per Bay?

To run DNIC sets on a 3300 there must be a peripheral node. This can either be a SX2000 (2K) style Bay or more recently a SX200 style bay.

The first software rel to support SX200 style bays was Rel 9.0, eliminating that choice based on your rev of 8.0.

Problem is random and only exist on some sets

Is these anything in common with the affected sets? Same card? Same Bay? Headset Use?

Does the problem only occur on external calls, internal calls or both?

Does the site have digital or analog trunking.? What hardware is used for trunks?

Really, it is not possible to provide too much information. Too little only delays things.

There are 3 possibilities that I see:

1. The sets are calling out an LS trunk, which is not well matched.
2. You are calling out a series of IP trunks (TDM->IP conversions).
3. It's acoustic echo caused either locally or by the far end (hands free mode).

As kwb suggests, you need to be quite exact with the setup/scenarios for people to be of further help.

Maybe too obvious to bring up, but do these phones have HEADSETS?
