Have several freeware versions of BRIA softphone on 3300 CXi (MCD 4.2) and users can perform transfer fine. But got asked the question how to return a call from transfer if the recipient does want the caller.

I couldn't figure it out and going nuts over it. Hanging up after transfer simply releases the call to the recipient. Hitting flash again creates a conference.

Transfer sequence:
- BRIA users hit the flash key (caller is placed on temp hold with MOH)
- User dials destination number, intro caller and normally hangs up

SIP capability assignment for BRIA:

Have tried changing "Replace System based with Device based In-Call Features". If set to yes, I can't perform transfer at all. So set to "NO"

Everything else at default

Is that feature supported on SIP clients on the 3300?

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.
