Mitel 3300/MIVB is not sending MWI to SIP/Minet phones.

Hi Guys,

I am trying to configure voicemail on Mitel MIVB/3300. Even after configuring the voicemail I am not able to see the MWI. I am able to leave voicemail and retrieve voicemail. I had configured the below settings in MIVB.

1. I had configured Class of service for voice mail.

COV/ONS/E&M Voice Mail Port = Yes

Message Waiting = Yes

Voice Mail Softkey = Yes

Created hunt group, created vm ports, created station attributes.

2. I had set "Message Waiting" and "Voice Mail Softkey" to the class of service of the phones.

Am I missing any thing guys.

Both SIP and Minet?

SIP might have several dependencies regarding the device

Minet is pretty much bullet proof

Have you programmed the FAC for Message waiting?

Also, can we assume embedded mail?

Yes. In both sip and minet sets I am facing the problem . The voice mail is embedded. I had also configured FAC as well tried enabling and disabling the same. But no avail.

Program/Modify a regular phone with the same COS as your VM Ports
Add this phone to the VM Hunt Group
Dial the FAC from this phone to set MWI against a different phone

Successful? Y/N
