Hi All,

I am not after any specific info at the moment, I just wondered if any of you guys have any experience of changing the IP address range of a working ICP 3300 MXE system.

A customer of ours is looking to transfer from public to private address ranges across 2 sites.

The networking side should not be a problem, I was just wondering, if, from the Mitel side this is fairly straight forward procedure or will there be a bunch of pitfalls I have not forseen.

Many Thanks for your time.

Dan

Should be a very simple straight forward change. Done it more then once and never run into problems.

Thanks DoubleUT, I'll give it bash.

Not a big problem to change the MXE's IP and I think you could simply create a new subnet for the phones.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Pages to make your changes, depending on system setup:

1. System IP Properties
2. Network Elements (This only if part of network)
3. ICP/PBX Networking (needed for Hotdesking)
