Mitel 3300 direct to voicemail not working with nupoint

call reroute always to voicemail does not work.

Here is the call flow.
Incoming calls goes to AA, select option 1 and then select submenu option 1 (HG 5555). HG 5555 is call reroute always to MB 2222.
when selecting submenu 1, it does not go to MB 2222 but instead, it says welcome to message center, please enter a mailbox number or wait.

I have program HG 5555 as the alternate extension in mailbox 2222 and it's still not working.


please help.
 
What are you trying to achieve?

Rather than fixing your solution, I propose you ask how we might resolve the original task.

You get the message because the system doesn't recognize the integration. Suspect that the voicemail is seeing a request to go to mailbox 5555. Any reason you need to send it to MB2222

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Anyone else and you need to throw it harder.
 
I suspect it is not using 5555 or 2222, probably using the DN that is used to hit the AA.
Try making HG5 555 a nametag to see if it breaks integration.
