I am new on Mitel IP PBX Controller but I have tried to replace exist MLAA with new prompts. I changed prompt and some menu. I need to play prompt on Day and Night-1 service. I tried some ways, but I can't play Night-1 service.

1. 2 DID numbers are assigned 800 Voicemail number to choose language as Menu Node.
2. There are 3 voicemail 801, 802 and 803 for 3 languages for Day service.
3. I created and recorded 3 another voicemail for Night service as 807, 808 and 809.
4. I created scheduler for Day and Night service. Also, holidays too.
5. I did call reroute feature but it doesn't work.

Anybody help me to use Night-1 service?

Thank you,

So you want separate Day Night Greetings for a DID terminated to Menu Node.

There's a FAQ for that.

Thank you for your reply. I found this article and followed what you mentioned, but I couldn't.
Would you explain more detail for my case? I did as below. What was I missing or wrong?

Step 1: Create an appearance for DID 8604 in the system, for this example I created Hunt-group 8604
- I have two DID and it points voicemail, 800.

Step 2: Create two ACD paths. In this example I created ACD paths (8840) and (8843). You have to designate one ACD path to be used in day mode, and the other ACD path for night-1 mode
- I created two ACD paths. 8801 and 8807 for day and night.

Step 3: In day mode, 8604 is call rerouted always to ACD path 8840, and in night-1 mode 8604 is call rerouted always to ACD path 8843
- On 3 and 4, I did reroute 8801 and 8807.

Step 4: create a fake agent group to use with the ACD paths created in step 2. Make sure to enable ôQueue Callers To Group When No Local Agents Are Logged Inö
- I created 81 Agenet Skill group and enabled Queue Callers To Group When No Local Agents Are Logged In.

Step 5: Create two phantom appearances in the system (ie, single lines). Make sure to call reroute always those phantom lines to the voicemail pilot number. In this example, I have created two non prime single lines 8400 and 8403 and I rerouted both DNs to the voicemail pilot number.
- I created two phantom appearances, 801 and 807 as single number on Prime single line 899. And entered this number on extention field on each voicemail numbers, 801 and 807. In call reroute, 801's Day is 3 and Night is 4. Is it right?

Step 6: In both ACD paths created in step 2, allow Interflow after 1 second to the phantom directory numbers created in step 5. Again, the idea here is to designate one ACD path to be the Day path and the second ACD path to be the night-1 path.
- I did allow Interflow after 1 second to the phantom directory number, 801 and 807. Do I need add any members into ACD skill group?

Step 7: In voicemail create two mailboxes for the interflow points, 8400 and 8403. Set the type of each mailbox to ôMenu Nodeö. Designate one to be the day Menu Node and the second one to be the night Menu Node. Login to each mailbox and record the associated greetings (open and closed greetings for example).
- I created voicemail 801 and 807. Extension is 801 and 807 too.

Step 8: Test this setup by dialing the DID number in day mode and in night-1 mode. Verify that the appropriate greeting is played.
- I created new schedule Day service and Night Service-1 for this.

Thank you,

DID's need to terminate to something that you can route before voicemail

Step 1
If you terminate them directly to voicemail it cannot work
Create Hunt group 8800 and terminate DID's to 8800

Step 3
The ACD Paths are the destinations of the reroutes.
You reroute the Hunt group created in Step 1
Route 8800 to 8801 in day and 8807 in night

Thank you for your reply.

I have a little knowledge on Mitel so it is basic question.
If I want 2 DID numbers as Hunt Group members for Hunt Group 8800, I would make 2 different number, 4000 and 4001, for DID and assign this into hunt group member. Is it corrent?

Step 1
If you terminate them directly to voicemail it cannot work
Create Hunt group 8800 and terminate DID's to 8800

What I should do:
Hunt group number - 8800
Type - Voice
Member - 4000 and 4001

Thank you,

Hunt group 8800 (I just picked this number based on your other numbers)

No Members

Reroute to 8801 in day
reroute to 8807 in night

kwbMitel,

I want to follow step-by-step. I need you help to solve this issue.

My situation as below.
- Mailbox Menu Node: 800 for select a language out of 3
- Mailbox Menu Node for Day service: 801, 802 and 803 for menu for each language
- Mailbox Menu Node for Night service-1: 807, 808 and 809 for menu for each language

1. 2 DID numbers
- 123-456-7890 and 234-456-7890 need destination number as 887 and 888?
2. Create a hunt group 800 for voice type? No members?
3. How to terminate DID's? Do I need call forward or call reroute always?
4. Create ACD paths for each menu? In my case 6? Its path reporting number is mailbox number?
5. Create phantom sing lines for 6 mailbox?
6. Create ACD skill groups. 3 groups?
7. Create 6 call rerouting always points? Its destination is ACD path number?
8. Call reroute for 6 ACD path with point?

How create one or two appearance for DID? Hunt Group? I did by your manual, but it doesn't work.
Would you explain for my case? I might explain more detail because I don't understand each steps.

Also, how can I set mailbox up to transfer directly from MLAA? In ACD Path, I used nametag hunt group, but I can't use on MLAA.

Thank you,

kwbMitel,

I explain more detail as below.

My situation is:
- 2 DID number.
- 1 mailbox, 800, to choose the language out of 3, and always played. Day and Night both.
- 6 mailboxes for each language for Day and Night.
> Mailbox 801 and 807: Language 1, Day and Night-1
> Mailbox 802 and 808: Language 2, Day and Night-1
> Mailbox 803 and 809: Language 3, Day and Night-1

I designed this for Day and Night-1 service as below. Would you review and correct what I am wrong?

1. 2 DID's destination: 8700
2. Create a Hung Groups: 8700 for DIDs.
3. Create ACD Path 8800 for mailbox 800. Its path reporting number is mailbox 800. I don't know this. 8700 is call rerouted always to ACD path 8800.
4. Create 6 ACD Path, 8801, 8802, 8803, 8807, 8808, 8809 for mailboxes as below.
> Mailbox 801 and 807: Language 1, Day and Night-1
> Mailbox 802 and 808: Language 2, Day and Night-1
> Mailbox 803 and 809: Language 3, Day and Night-1
* How about path reporting number? Mailbox numbers?
5. Create Call rerouting Always points
> Point 3: 8801
> Point 4: 8807
> Point 5: 8802
> Point 6: 8808
> Point 7: 8803
> Point 8: 8809
> Point 9: 8800
6. Call rerouting. It makes me confuse. Caller should hear mailbox 800 to choose language option.
I have no idea this step.
> 8700 to 8800 use point 9.
> When caller choose their language on mailbox 800, if so far correct, how to reroute? How to access each mailbox defense on the language option.
7. Create ACD skill groups 80, 81, 82, 83. Enabled Queue Callers To Group When No Local Agents Are Logged In.
> 80 for ACD path 8800
> 81 for ACD path for 8801 and 8807
> 82 for ACD path for 8802 and 8808
> 83 for ACD path for 8803 and 8809
8. Create 6 phantom sing line directory numbers: 801, 802, 803, 807, 808, 809 on extension 128 to use Multiple soft key.
You need me to reroute this phantom DNs to the voicemail pilot number. What do you mean? I have 16 ports, 601 to 616, and belong to Hunt group 600.
You mean to use 600? or each mailbox number?
9. Allow Interflow after 1 second to the phantom directory number.
> Enable Interflow with 0 mins and 1 sec. And point phantom number. Ex. ACD path 8801 uses 801.
10. Already created and recored mailbox. How about mailbox's extension number? Use phantom DN? Ex. Mailbox 801's extension is 801?

Also, I have another issue to call mailbox directly from MLAA.
When a caller failed on Ring Group, I point its call to mailbox 843 as menu node. There are 2 options. Option 1 is keep holding, option 2 is goes to specific mailbox 143 when caller press 1. I tried to use Nametag hunt group what you told me yesterday on ACD Path, but I can't use it on mailbox. How can I solve this issue?

Thank you for reading my questions.

Thank you,

I maybe solve this issue.

I made 2 main menu to choose language, 800 and 810. 800 menu has day service option and 810 for night. I did call reroute both menu for day and night.

Thank you for your help.
