Mitel 330 - Nupoint Voice Mail issue

Transferred call does not go to correct Voice Mail box.

Speed dial to Named Tagged empty Hunt Group - 6100
6100 is VM Call Director box and works correctly
Option 3 goes to Ring group 6440
Call answered and transfered to ext 6814
6814 does not answer - call does not go to VM for 6814 - it goes back to Named Tagged 6100 Call Director messages

Ring groups do not associate with voicemail.

Not mentioned, but assumed, is that the Ring Group is routed to VM on no answer. Also not mentioned, but assumed, is that 6100 is the default answer point(line group Call Flow)

If my assumptions are correct, then things are working exactly as they are designed to.

Ring Group is routed to VM on no answer - 6439 - "Please leave a message"

6100 is main entry into Voice prompt in Nupoint - "press 1 for, etc

Call is answered in ring group then transferred to internal extension with VM - It is this extension that does not get the VM - It goes back to the Voice prompt. Can this be configured to work so that when transferred to the boss it leaves a message on her phone? :-}

Sorry - tried to be as detailed as possible with little real training.

Call Flow

- Call gets answered by VM (6100 Call Director)
- Caller dials 3
- Caller is transfered to ring group 6440
- Caller is answered by XXXX
- Ext XXXX then transfers the call to 6814
- 6814 does not answer and call routes to VM
- Mailbox 6814 does not answer, instead call is answered by Main Line Group Call Flow (6100)

You're going to have to test each step to see where things break.

Start by simply calling 6814 from an extension - Work - Y/N
Then Call ext xxxx directly and have xxxx transfer to 6814
Then call the ring group, get answered by xxxx and be transferred

Which of any of these fail?

Do not send the speed dial to a Name Tag hunt group. Create a phantom DN instead.

Name Tag hunt groups keep the original ID (6100)even after it has been answered and transferred.
 
@lowradiation - not with Nupoint last I checked.

First - Thanks for all of your help

Here is test conducted

From 6403 - called 6814 - got VM for 6814
From 6403 called 6456 (member of RG 6440) transferred to 6814 - got VM 6814
From 6403 called RG 6440 - answered by 6456 transferred to 6814 - got VM for 6814
From 6403 called 6100 (Voice Prompt) pressed 3 for RG 6440 - answered by 6456 - transferred to 6814 - Got Voice Prompt for 6100
So it appears to fail when first hitting the Voice Prompt - 6100
We have another similiar setup BUT it does not use named Tagged Hunt it uses real user phone not plugged in and that does work but uses device license. Thoughts?? And again thanks

 
My first response was going to be similar to Lowradiation's and advise you to remove the nametag routing.

Try and find a way to test without it.

Mitel may have made a change in the Nupoint Integration.
