Mitel 3000 - Invalid Extension Routing

So I've finally got the Mitel 3000 up and running rather well, but now I've got a slight issue I can't figure out. Our old extensions where 20, 21, 22, etc...two digits...now we're working on four digit extensions, and in particular we added "17" to the front of their old extension...so if they used to be extension 21, they are now extension 1721. That works fine.

What I'm trying to fix is when we call in to test and dial our old extension (Just 21 for example) it rings our receptionist via the first ring group. That will be fine if that's all we can do, but I was wondering if there is a way I can pump all invalid extension attempts to a different information only mailbox?

I see in the manual something about the Incoming Ringing for the CO lines handles this, but we're PRI and even messing with those settings didn't seem to yield anything better.

Ideally we want them to go to the info mailbox, where they'll hear a message explaining the change in numbers, and then the caller would either be sent back to the AA or at least get a prompt to try dialing the correct extension again.

So any thoughts/suggestions/tips? Thanx in advance!!!

in the "intercept handling" form there is the ability to send invalid numbers to a destination. In your case it would need to be a name tag hunt group or something like that to send it to a VM box.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
