Mitel 1000

Can any one tell me if a Mitel 1000 system can. A new client called sayes he needs a new system- I went to site and saw a Mitell 1000 there. The phones say he can have 4 lines he says he was told he cant ????

Can any one out there shed some loght on this system ???
There is a small box by the electrical panel says 1000 on it and 4 sets.
