I have an application using MiTAI to communicate with a 3300. When my application attempts to do an SXMonitor on a set of 15 trunks, I am getting back the SXERR_FEATURE_NOT_ALLOWED error. All the other Trunks work fine. What parameter do I need to change? I checked the HCI/CTI/TAPI Monitor Allowed in the Class Of Service and it is set to "yes". What am I missing?

Thanks, in advance, for any assitance rendered.

What about HCI Call Control allowed? Wouldn't it be needed if you want the trunk to actually be able to do something within call control? No idea what your application does, but that's just a thought.
I've never seen an app that uses trunks for HCI, but if you do a "mon display" from maintenance (not sure if this will work within the ESM, may have to telnet to the box), do you see the trunks listed?

I checked this and found it was set properly. After a little investigation it turned out we ran out of monitor resources. Thank you for your response.

Interesting, is there a way of checking the amount of resources that are left? Or a way of calculating how many you have?

From the Telnet interface.. List Sho Flist for.....
Not sure of the list number but think this is included.
List Sho Flist For 9 will tell you the number of MWI lamps you have.

Not sure...I'm pretty sure there is a switch parameter that tells you how many you are allowed to do. I'm not a switch guy, I just write code to interface with it. I don't recall seeing an API call that tells you what the limit is, or how close to reaching it. I'm going to research it.
